The Chairman reported the main activities that the Community Council had been involved with and supported in the past year. Proposed Basketball area, on going at the moment. Thanks to Innes Moodie for once again doing such an excellent job as Village Officer. Thanks to everyone involved in the flowers and lights projects. Consultation on Dounreay waste and dismantling of nuclear submarines. Laying of Fibre Optic Cables. A9 Improvements. Dunbar A & E. NHS Dentists. Housing. Waste water Treatment Plant. Trains. Downgrading of Maternity Unit. Grateful thanks to Wendy Stark who did not wish to be re- elected as a Community Councillor. A former secretary, Wendy had given many years service to the Community Council. Treasurer’s Report. The Treasurer’s report was passed around and explained. We have a balance of £705.52 at present. Acceptance of the report was proposed by J. Crowden, Seconded by I. Moodie. Election of Office Bearers.
