MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING AND MATTERS ARISING FROM THEM. The minutes of the last meeting held on 12th May 2005. Metal Bins at Sand End suggested. Cost an issue. Action A.M. Shed at Putting Field now removed. Fence nearest Traill Street still to be removed. Action A.M. 3/VILLAGE OFFICERS UPDATE. Grass cutting deplorable. Rubbish still lying in certain areas. Salmon nets once again placed over the Heritage Trail. Complaints about small motorcycles running on the sand dunes and beach. Flooding in MacKay Street, Traill Street and in front of Butcher Shop still happening. Sign for Olrig Hill to be put in place. Action I.M, A.M. 4/CASTLEHILL HARBOUR TRUST. Meeting to be held on Tuesday 28th June 2005. 5/SCOTTISH WATER: WASTE WATER TREATMENT. Work starting soon. 6/WIND FARMS. Durran Mains Wind Farm- Scope and Method Proposal Document had been received. 7/CORRESPONDENCE. Letters received were discussed and noted as follows:
8/ AOCB Report of A Rail Passenger Council Meeting held in Dingwall on 23rd and 24th May 2005. Mary Dickson did not attend the meetings. In attendance were John Yellowleas, External relations Manager and Alan Dougal, Inverness Stationmaster. No more delays promised. Action J.C. Being no further business the date for the next meeting was set for Tuesday 16th August 2005 at 7:30pm in the Castletown Drill Hall. The meeting closed at 22:00hrs. |
