Minutes of meeting held on Tuesday 25th October 2005 in the Castletown Drill Hall at 7:30pm.

The minutes of the last meeting held on 18th September 2005.

Putting Field – remaining part of fence still in place. Posts had not been removed due to the hope they would be put to use in the future.

3/VILLAGE OFFICER UPDATES.

Heritage Trail car park fence, 4 broken spars. Work outstanding with Council highlighted. Chipping for Sand-End car park requested. Complaints about fireworks. Dog fouling still a problem.

4/CASTLEHILL HARBOUR TRUST.

No further report.

5/SCOTTISH WATER: WASTE WATER TREATMENT.

Problem with Tanks. Applying for 2 discharge consents.

6/WIND FARMS

No further word on Durran Wind Farm. Concerns about other areas in Caithness.

7/INSPECTOR GOSKIRK ADDRESSES THE MEETING.

Members highlighted the concerns of the general public. Dog fouling, fireworks, fires in litter bins, off the road bikes were all mentioned. No matter how trivial the complaint, contact the Police, was the message from Inspector Goskirk. The possibility of holding a Police Clinic was discussed.
